About Dr. Onecia Benjamin

I was born in the tropical land of Guyana, South America. I immigrated to Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY where my interest in Medicine was piqued. This passion intensified during my college years and on rotations in the medical clinics. Providing quality health care to the community is my mission.

I have been working as a Hospitalist at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA for nearly four years, addressing acute inpatient needs. I also serve on the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and am a Board Member of the South Atlantic Medical Association (SAMA). My aim in this clinic is to provide an atmosphere where patients thrive in a culture dedicated to health and wellness. We will cultivate lasting relationships within the Hardeeville community and beyond.
